Adventure Zone is operated by the El Dorado Hills Community Services Recreation Division with the purpose of providing a safe, caring, and enriching environment for children in grades K-5. A variety of age-appropriate, and integrated activities will be provided under the guidance of trained personnel. We strive to create a fun and inclusive program through integrated games, STEM projects, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities. We also offer time to do homework with academic support. Through the program children develop social skills, a desire to learn, and decision making skills.
Adventure Zone uses a highly secure online emergency network called ePACT, which collects medical and emergency information for all participants, eliminating the use of paper forms. Using ePACT means staff will be better prepared to deal with any emergency, big or small as well as more accurate, up-to-date information.
