Park Impact Fees

Park impact fees are a charge to developers for the cost of park improvements needed to serve a new development. Park Impact Fees (PIF) provide up-front financing for the expansion of public facilities needed to serve a new development. The District uses Park Impact Fees as one of the many ways to fund Capital Improvement projects.

Government Code Section 66006(a) requires local agencies that require the payment of development fees to submit annual notices detailing the status of those fees.
