Sean Hansen has been an area resident since 1997 and has been involved in numerous community service activities including Boy Scouts of America, Youth Sports and serving as the President of Active 20-30, Sacramento #1. Sean’s family is also very active in our community, with a wonderful wife who led Girl Scouts, a Boy Scout son who plays volleyball at Marina and snowboards for the Sierra at Tahoe D-Team and a rock star two-sport varsity athlete daughter (volleyball & snowboarding) at Oak Ridge.
Prior to his current entrepreneurial activities, Sean spent over two decades in IT Leadership roles, predominately focused on delivering State and Local Government solutions helping streamline and improve agency operations. Sean is a Principal of FranciseScale, which focuses on helping organizations grow their businesses through the Franchise model and perhaps more importantly helps individuals achieve their dream of business ownership. To date, he has played a vital role in helping over 50 individuals (and growing) become entrepreneurs with NerdsToGo and Surface Experts franchise companies.
Mr. Hansen is a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC), whereas an academic and needs-based scholarship recipient, he learned first-hand about the importance of giving back and helping others.
Sean hopes to leverage his community engagement, service experience, business knowledge and understanding of government agencies to simply give back to this community that he cherishes and is proud to call home. He believes that the CSD offers a unique chance to provide great services and facilities for current and future generations.
