What is this event? An at large vacancy on the Board of Directors of El Dorado Hills Community Services District has occurred due to the resignation of Director Priest. The current Board of Directors elected to appoint an individual to fill the vacancy for the remainder of his term to end in December 2022. Per Gov. Code 1780, this appointment must be completed within 60 days of the effective date of resignation (May 13, 2021).

Background Information
An at large vacancy on the Board of Directors of El Dorado Hills Community Services District has occurred due to the resignation of Director Allan Priest.
The Board of Directors has elected to appoint an individual to fill the vacancy created by Director Priest’s resignation for the remainder of his term to end in December 2022. Per Gov. Code 1780, this appointment must be completed within 60 days of the effective date of resignation.
Any persons interested in being considered for the appointment submited, in writing, an application directly to the General Manager, by May 21, 2021 at 12:00 p.m.
NOTE: No applications will be accepted after the posted time. Any Application Form may be accompanied by an ‘Applicant Statement of Qualifications’ and any other written materials prospective applicants choose to submit for review by the remaining Board of Directors.
To be eligible to fill the vacancy on the District’s Board, applicants must be registered voters in El Dorado County and residents of the District. Please contact the District only if you have any questions with respect to the requirements for appointment to the Board of Directors.
The Board intends to interview applicants on Monday, June 7, 2021 and will fill the vacancy by appointment at the regular meeting to be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021. The Board reserves the right to postpone the selection of an applicant to a later date at a scheduled special meeting.
