Renew California Parks Project

Saturday, May 8 • 8am-4pm
Members of the general public are encouraged to participate in a day designed to give back to the community by repairing and/or enhancing local parks. Projects will include:
• Promontory Community Park – Installation of a rail style fence and landscaping
• Murray Homestead Park – Installation of a decomposed granite walkway
• New York Creek Trail – Trail improvements

Parks Make Life Better” Poster Contest

Want something artistic to kick-off this summer? Get your creative juices flowing and help us celebrate July 16 Parks & Recreation month by entering our Poster Contest!
• Contest begins: June 7, 2010
• Blank posters can be picked up at the CSD Registration Office or El Dorado Hills Library
• Entry Deadline: June 28, 2010 at 5pm
• One prize will be awarded to the best drawing in each age category: 5-6, 7-9, 10-12 & 13-16

Community Cleanup Day

Saturday, May 22 • 9am–3pm
VPD, 4250 Town Center Blvd. West, El Dorado Hills
Who: El Dorado Hills residents & residents within the District boundaries.
What: Disposal of large/bulky, unwanted items, green waste and e-waste.
