In an effort to deter vandalism, the District contracts with a security company to patrol various facility and park locations in addition to local law enforcement patrols.  In the event of vandalism,the staff immediately removes or repairs the vandalism. 

Costs associated with vandalism are definitely a concern.  Each act of vandalism can end up costing hundreds or thousands of dollars.  These funds are not budgeted for and detract from resources that could have been used otherwise.

As a Community, the District needs your help in keeping our parks and facilities a safe and beautiful environment.  If you witness an act of vandalism in progress, please contact the Sheriff’s Department at (530) 626-4911. Otherwise, please contact the CSD at (916) 933-6624 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, or at (916) 825-6690 during nights and weekends, or at mail@edhcsd.org.
