Karate

SA Shatokan Karate is a Japanese style of karate provides students a healthy balance between physical exercise and mental discipline. This results in improved coordination, focus, and self confidence. This class accommodates all student levels from beginner to black belt. Each new student will be supplied a Gi to wear in class. Ages 7 - Adult

 

NFL Flag Football

Please note that evaluations for Tuesday, February 7th has been cancelled due to flooding on the Promontory field.  Contact the Registration Office if you have any questions, 916-933-6624 (option 0), M-F, 9am-4pm.

League focuses on fundamentals, teamwork and imporving individual skills in a competitive yet fun environment.  Participants receive an official NFL jersey, set of flags and personalized award.  Practices are one day a week with games on Satrudays beginning in April.  All players must attend a player evaluation (see receipt for dates & times).  Registration Deadline: Friday, 2/3 or when full.

Fun in the Saddle

Spring Classes   Registration
Learn to ride Western and English while mastering basic horsemanship!  Groom, tack, work from the ground, lunge, and ride a well-trained lesson horse.  Horse and helmet provided, boots requred.  Ages 6 & up. $182  Visit www.equineunl.com for a list of what to bring.

This level is a graduation from QuickStart tennis. Designed to teach solid fundamentals and stroke production with an introduction to match play. Focused on developing a great technique while learning the basics of match play.
 

Junior Development

Junior League Match Play
Ages 7-16 • $100/6 classes
Friday 4:00-5:30pm or 5:30-7pm

Jan-May Registration
All play on Friday afternoons. This program is a low pressure, fun way to begin competition match play. A USPTA certified teaching Professional will be present each week to help with match play tactics. Champions receive trophies.

 

Tournament Level Group

Ages 13-17 • $165/6 classes 
Mondays 5:30-7pm
Jan-May Registration

Dedicated to the competitive player. Technique, strategy, conditioning and mental toughness will be emphasized as these players work towards their tennis goals This group is being prepared for the highest level of competition. Players must be approved by the teaching professional to qualify.
