Adult Sports

The El Dorado Hills Community Services District offers adult sports year-round, depending on the season. Leagues are for adults, ages 18+ and include game balls, certified officials and awards for league champions. Registration is limited in the number of teams per league on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Once maximum numbers are reached, registration closes. Registration may not be available online for all activities. To register, please call 916-933-6624 or visit our office at 1021 Harvard Way in El Dorado Hills.

Adult Open Gym Basketball

Join us for 4x4 pick-up games.
Location: CSD Gym
Fee: $5 per player or $20 punch card for 5 visits. Pay at Gym
Mondays and Thursdays • 8:15-10pm

Adult Softball

Pick from multiple options including coed and men’s leagues. Teams play weekly games followed by play-offs for the top four teams the final week. Promontory Community Park. Team Roster must be completed and submitted at registration. Online Registration not available for Adult Team sports. Register in person or fax completed team roster to (916) 614-3215 and then call (916) 933-6624 with credit card information.

Learn rules, scoring, strategy, terminology, court courtesy and actual game play. Instructor: Carl Renner

Bocce Ball Strategies

Ages 13 & up • $35 • 11am-12:30pm
Saturday, 2/10, 3/10 or 4/14  Registration
Refine your skills in blocking, lag, bumping, and shooting. Get the big picture on the court to know what strategies to use and how to execute them. Instructor: Carl Renner


Practice to Win

Ages 13 & up
Who likes losing? You’ve heard the adage “Practice Makes Perfect” now learn how to organize practice sessions that will translate into improved play and hopefully victories in matches. Topics include: setting your line-up and order of play, team chemistry, seeing verses perceiving match situations, practice drills, player communication and critiquing each player or team in a simulated game. Instructor: Carl Renner



Bocce Ball League

Ages 13 & up •
Registration will open on: February 1, 2018  Registration not available online.
Teams must have a minimum of 5 players. Fee is per person.








Drop-In Pickleball

Tuesdays & Thursdays • 9am-12pm
Played on 4 indoor courts. Loaner paddles and balls provided or feel free to bring your own! Ages 18+


Drop-In Pickleball will continue at Valley View Elementary (9am-12pm) until August!


Intro to Pickleball

Ages 18 & up • $60/4 classes
Tues & Thurs 12-1pm   Registration
Learn rules of Pickleball, techniques for executing basic shots (serves, return, volley, dink), simple strategy and team work with doubles partners.

Kayaking for Boomers

Sunset/Full Moon Paddles

Ages 14* - adult
Glide across thewater of Lake Natoma beneath the fascinating light and shadows of the setting sun and rising moon.  Except for the sounds of animals and birds settling down at twilight, you'll have the stillness of the lake to yourself.  Indtroductory skills session and equipment provided.  *Younger okay if with an adult.


Learn to Kayak

Our stable dayaks and experienced instructors will show you how simple, safe and fun kayaking really is.  Enjoy exploring the Lake and learning the basics of how to be under your own power on the water.  *Younger okay if with an adult.

SA Shatokan Karate is a Japanese style of karate provides students a healthy balance between physical exercise and mental discipline. This results in improved coordination, focus, and self confidence. These classes accommodates all student levels from beginner to black belt. Each new student will be supplied a Gi to wear in class.
