The El Dorado Hills Community Services District offers a variety of adult classes year round. Ballroom, Swing & Salsa - CSD
$44/4 classes

Learn the fundamentals of Ballroom Dancing and build each week progressing from basics to intermediate patterns and techniques. No partner necessary. Call (916) 849-6257 for private lessons. Instructor: Adriana Clark

Country Line Dancing  - CSD

Exercise your body and mind dancing to lively, upbeat music. Country line dancing is a fun way to dance socially without a dance partner and get fit. Instructor:Tina Goins

Class instruction in playing ukulele using Mel Bay's Easy Ukulele Method Book 1 by Mary Lou Dempler.  Strum along to traditional songs.  No experience necessary.  Bring a ukulele (no baritones) and a copy of the book.   Instructor: Lew Johnson

Intro Guitar
Ages 12 & Up  • $44/4 classes

Class instruction in playing guitar using Step One: Teach Yourself Guitar (Hal Leonard). Learn chords, strums, picks, and songs. No experience necessary. Bring a guitar and a copy of the book. No class 4/11. Instructor: Lew Johnson



Ultimate Chocolate Truffles
Ages 12 & Up  • $39/1 class
Saturday, February 4 • 10am-12:15pm 
Registration                                                                                                                                                                                                                 What if you could create beautiful, gift-worthy chocolate truffles in two hours? Well, you’re in luck! During this class, participants will learn how to make elegant dome-shaped truffles. The instructor will walk students through three simple steps to making truffles using two different types of chocolate. White, milk and dark ganache will be flavored with exciting additions like Amaretto, Raspberry, and Coconut. Everyone will take home a dozen truffles in flavors of their choosing. Students will receive a set of molds and notes from class, along with boxes to take home their impressive creations. Supply fee of $15 payable to Instructor. Instructor: Karen Moore

Every Thursday • 2-4pm
Oak Knoll Club House 3371 Alussum Circle, EDH
If you already play chess, join us and be part of our new Chess Club which will meet bi-monthly. We will exchange playing ideas, recreate famous games and compete with other participants. All ages are welcome and invited to join. Sorry, this is not for brand new beginners, as no lessons will be offered. Bring your own chess board. Infant, Child, & Adult CPR and First aid. This class is EMSA approved for daycare/preschool providers. We are required to affix their approval stickers to your card at a cost of $6, payable at class. $10 materials fee also due at class.

Prerequisite: Separate purchase and completion of the OnlineAHA. org Heartsaver CPR/AED online course. Bring the Completion Certificate to class.
