Suzanne Bell – Creative Adventures in Art
Various youth & adult art classes Suzanne Bell holds degrees from both CSU Sacramento and the Pratt Fine Arts College in Seattle, WA. She focuses on hands-on art curriculum utilizing multi-media art instruction. With over 14 years experience, Suzanne designs and implements art programs focusing on individual creativity.
Phyllis Finn – Country Line Dance
Phyllis has been line dancing for almost 25 years! Both her and her husband have been teaching Line Dance classes at local Parks and Recreation agencies since 1993. Some of Phyllis’ students have been taking ongoing classes with her since she began teaching 12 years ago. Phyllis and her husband also provide Country & Western DJ services for dances, weddings and special events.
Ryan Fraser – Launch Wakeboarding School
Launch Wake boarding School has been teaching wakeboarding, wakeskating and boaters training since 1999. The school provides the newest and best equipment and teach out of Browns Ravine Marina on Folsom Lake.
Greg Landin of Rescue Training Institute – First Aid, CPR and AED Training
Rescue Training Institute was founded in 1991 by El Dorado Hills resident and firefighter/paramedic Greg Landin. Since then, over 10,000 students have received instruction in CPR or First Aid. RTI’s instructors are firefighters, paramedics, EMT’s and nurses, hand-picked specifically for the RTI teaching team. RTI is an American Heart Association training center. Donna Rixmann – Gentle Yoga
Donna is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists and a registered yoga teacher at the 700-hour level. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s in Health Services Management. Donna is qualified to teach all levels and styles of yoga. Dan Crandall of Current Adventures Kayaking - Youth and Adult Kayaking Classes
Dan Crandall is the owner and lead instructor for Current Adventures Kayak School. He has been kayaking for over 15 years and teaching nearly as long. He is a member of the U.S. Kayak Surf Team, an instructor trainer for the American Canoe Association and frequent winner of Sacramento's Eppie's Great Race. Debi Davis of El Dorado Dance Academy - Asst'd youth dance classes Local resident Debi Davis began her ballet training at age 5, and was in a national touring company by age 13. She has performed locally in Music Circus and was contracted by the Miss USA America Pageant System as resident choreographer and dancer. She earned her Bachelor degrees in Dance and Anthropology from UC Irvine, followed by her Masters degrees in Cultural Anthropology and Dance Studies at the University of Surrey. Debi has studied dance and performed throughout the world.
Kellie Donovan - Baton Kellie Donovan has won the National Baton Twirling championship three times. She placed 3rd in the world in 2003 in Barcelona, Spain. Kellie has traveled the world for this sport including Italy, France, England, Holland, Japan, Canada, Spain and Switzerland. Kellie's youngest team placed third in their division at Nationals in 2004.
Gale Emerson, "Azar" - Middle Eastern Dance Azar began her dance career as a ballet dancer. She teaches an elegant, yet authentic, Arabic style of Middle Eastern Dance that she learned from her middle-eastern teachers and her many trips to the Mid-East. Azar has over 25 years of experience teaching and performing on stage and television.
Julie Gibson of Complete Dog Training - Puppy Kindergarten and Dog Obedience Julie Gibson has been training dogs for more than 20 years. She trained under one of the nation's top trainers, Matt Margolis (Uncle Matty). Julie's focus is on the dog and handler as a team so the training experience is enjoyable for both. In addition to obedience training and behavior management, Julie has worked with 4-H, Guide Dogs for the Blind and is currently a Search and Rescue K-9 handler.
Robert Gouine of Pacific Paper - Digital Photography Bob Gouine has been a professional photographer in the Sacramento area and been involved with computers and printers for over 14 years. He has owned Pacific Paper for more than 18 years. Bob teaches computer classes and photography classes throughout the Sacramento area.
Hank Hamilton of Mountain High Music - Guitar Hank Hamilton has been playing and teaching music on the guitar, banjo and harmonica for over 35 years. He offers private lessons and group workshops in his music studio in Pollock Pines. His musical styles of interest range from old-time country, golf, pop, and blues to rock. He can be seen performing with friends at local venues.
Malinda Kregoski of Equine Unlimited - Horsemanship and Equestrian Day Camp
Malinda Kregoski has owned and managed Rescue's Equine Unlimited for 18 years. She has worked closely with youth scout groups, and has offered summer day camp programs for 5 years. Malinda has offered equestrian programs for all ages including junior college students.
Siggy Kristiansen of Dancing With Class - Ballroom Dance Siggy Kristiansen has been teaching Ballroom Dance classes for over 15 years. She holds a bronze level of certification from the National Dance Teachers of America (NDTA). Siggy continues her education in the field by attending weekly lessons and traveling throughout the United States attending camps, workshops and trainings.
Henry Look - Tai Chi Grandmaster Henry Look has studied Internal martial Arts for over 35 years. He serves as director of numerous national and international Martial Arts Associations. He has been featured in numerous martial arts magazines and was named the Inside Kung-Fu Hall of Fame's Instructor of the Year in 1997. Grandmaster Look was also awarded the USA Wushu Kung Fu Federation Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award, Inside Kung-Fu Hall of Fame Man of the Year in 2004.
Catherine Statham of Heartline - Certified Babysitting
Local resident Cathy Statham established Heartline in 1985. Heartline specializes in providing Certified Babysitting, CPR, Automated External Defibrillator ( AED) and First Aid training programs. Cathy is a member of the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of El Dorado Hills, TIPs El Dorado and the Healthcare Providers Service Organization (HPSO).
Todd Walker of Piano Magic - Piano Classes Todd Walker has been a musician, magician, and actor for most of his life and has taught piano to more than 25,000 students. He has performed as a pianist or actor in Off - Broadway Shows in New York City. He is currently teaching workshops throughout the United States. He is a graduate of four different programs from the Grove School of Music: The Keyboard Instrumental Program; the Professional Instrumental Program; the Composing and Arranging Program; and the Film Composing Program. Todd also attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the HB Studio in New York.
